THE WAIT IS OVER! SIDING!

Time... Money... Why are these two things never present at the same time?

10 years ago, we began a project. Dylan was an infant. Shawn had a month off from having a knee surgery. We decided to begin a project, that led from one thing to another. All we wanted to do was remodel the upstairs Master bedroom and bathroom. But that could only be done after the 1st floor bath was remodeled. A couple windows had to be moved. (BTW: A real pain when you have cinder block walls.) Carpet, paint... and the list went on... and on.... and on! Then, between all that - LIFE - happens!

Anyway, we finally broke down and decided to replace the siding on the front of the house. With the help of my dad and Shawn's dad, they got most of the project done in a week.

Shawn replacing and moving the patio window.

Jack adding some firring strips.

Dad cutting some siding.

We still need to get shutters for the kitchen window, so this is the "almost" finished product. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

Home Sweet Home... looking a bit more-normal-again!

Ephesians 3:14-19

"For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen."
