Easter Weekend

My cousin Tim Breen came for a visit this weekend. We stole him away with us for a game of bowling with the "Smunts" (Smiths & Hunts).

We had a great time! We did missed Mr. Scott not being able to play since he had a "broken" knee.
Look closely...after my 1st warm up ball, I got a strike! Fun!
Such concentration goes behind those power balls!
Tim had great form and delivery...but not many pins fell...?!?!
Debi - with glee! Hee Hee!
My strange people!

Dylan loved hanging out with Tim. He got him on the trampoline a couple times, went for a walk to the tree swing, and shot bee bee guns at the target range.
Tim even helped Ashley out with her Algebra. She learned her lesson in 5 min. flat - I love my brainiac cousin! We will miss you Timmy! Hope you come back home soon!

In Memory of AMBROSE A. BREEN April 15, 1984 - Feb. 29, 2008

Our struggle in life, Is often in vain.
For even the good, Will suffer in pain.
Like sickness and death, That follow us through.
Though our days on earth, Be many or few.
Why, even the righteous, Find anger and grief.
Though their days be long, Ever so brief.
So take heart my soul, Your Word be my guide.
Trust in God, And do more beside.
Let Job your counselor, Be heard as He said,
"Though He slay me I'll bless Him, And arise from the dead."
Oh! Friend can't you see, The answer is clear,
Let God be God, We need not fear.
The awful fate of a Shattered life.
That some experience, Who continue in strife.
Our complaining and crying, Will only feed the bleak.
Its the memories we'll guard, while God we shall seek.
Into mansions of glory, Beyond this fair sky.
Where angel and saints Sing a new song on high.
Praise unto the Lamb, All glories above.
His sacrifice saved us, Amazing His love.
Lets praise Him today, As in truth we ought.
For redemption loves story, By His Blood was bought.
For the vilest of men, Forgiveness of Sin,
Who trust in the Savior and invite Jesus in.
Let God be God, Please do it today.
He invites us to come, To Him right away.
He comforts the lonely, And broken hearted too,
Let God be God, He'll do this for you.
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)

Dylan's Birthday Sleepover!

Dylan enjoyed his birthday with his friends at the new North Arundel Aquatics Center in Glen Burnie.
They have a really great water park, complete with slides.
Nick enjoying the sprinkler.
They had a couple races and swam a few laps.
No, I'm not crying because my "baby" turned 10. The chlorine in the air was really strong - burned my eyes.
Nick, Dylan and Josh playing in the guisers.
My dear husband, wishing he had brought his swim suit.
Everette playing in the downpour.
After the swim, we came home for some pizza and snacks. Yes, that is Nick's creation...M&M pizza...yuck!

Dylan enjoyed spending the time with his friends and opening gifts.
His favorite...Ice cream cake!
Time for bed. We are still unclear as to what time they actually went to sleep - if at all!
Sleepyhead's eating breakfast.
Happy Birthday Dylan! We're praying you have many more in service and worship to the Lord! We love you dearly!

Baaaad Puppies!

Yes, puppies are cute and cuddly until......

... somebody wants to PLAY...
...then they turn into snarling, go for the throat, BEASTS!

GRADUATION!

Friday night was Toby and Shelby's Graduation at PetSmart. They completed an 8 week long puppy training class that included all the basics.
These are their classmates, Jesse and Jo Jo. They are brother and sister, from the same litter too. Jo Jo is WAY smaller than Jesse.
It's pretty cool what a puppy will do for a treat!
ATTENTION!
The graduating class complete with hat's and tassels!
CONGRATULATIONS PUPPIES!

DIARY OF ANNE FRANK

The homeschool group went to Toby's Theatre on Friday to see The Diary of Anne Frank.
The group of us before heading to Columbia Mall for lunch.
We brought back a few of Ashley's friends, for a couple hours, before they went to the Teen Impact at church. It's been a while since I've seen this scene!

Ephesians 3:14-19

"For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen."
