Memorial Weekend

On Thursday, Shawn had his hand surgery. He did very well, and is looking forward to getting the recovery and therapy process over with!
We weren't sure how he'd be feeling that weekend, so we cancelled our original plans of cruising to St. Michaels. With the help from his pain meds, we spent a few days on the boat and down the shore.
We had beautiful weather and a lot of fun! I navigated the boat, since the Skipper was temporarily handicapped. Even with some challenges (night-time, and windy conditions) I cruised and docked very well! Many thanks to Annapolis Power-Boat School, and Captain Mike!
All that sunshine and fun, knocked out the kids, AND the puppies!

It was funny how they'd take a snooze whenever / wherever they could!
Still Waters at Anchor off Love Point.
Dylan had a blast learning how to operate the dinghy motor. He became our chauffeur for part of the weekend. This is Dylan and Jason coming back from setting some crab pots.
Jason's (very sweet) girlfriend Rocio.
Pop Pop and Ashley, enjoying the sunshine and water views!
Turns out Toby is our Water Dog!
Jesse has been staying with us for a couple weeks now. He was such a great help this weekend, and we thoroughly enjoyed his company! Thanks for your confidence - I couldn't have docked that windy afternoon without ya!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

TO ALL THE "MOM'S" IN MY LIFE...

"Big" Grandmom

Mom

...THANK YOU FOR BEING SO SPECIAL TO ME. I LOVE YOU! HAVE A VERY HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Ephesians 3:14-19

"For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen."
