May began with a Parent Appreciation Banquet. Our church youth group hosted it. Ashley and the teens did an AMAZING job!
Our youth Pastor and his wife announced each parent couple upon entrance of the castle.
We were seated and treated like royalty!
We were entertained with several skits.
Some were very funny!
We dined on turkey legs, corn on the cob, bread, potato wedges, and grape juice.
The teens sang praises to the Lord.
ALL had a great time!
Sooo much work was put into this! We were showered with LOVE and THOUGHTFULNESS!
This was a skit about the "three pigs syndrome."
There was even a joust!
The ladies joust went from sweet...
to VICIOUSLY BRUTAL!
The evening ended after the teens "knighted" the parents and presented them with a family shield.
