Church Picnic!

The Memorial Day Church Picnic is Ashley and Dylan's favorite church activity! This year was quite a crowd (about 100+ people!) It included a great devotional by Pastor, great food, games and fellowship!

Several volley ball games were played. But the very best was....

...when the teens played the grownups! The foolish against the wise! A very disgusted PC played on the teens side! Parents beat those young'ens 3 games out of 4! With the first game's score being 21 to 0! It was totally hillarious!

A couple games of horseshoes!

My husband who, sometimes, can be the total age of 5! (notice the lollypop hanging out of his mouth)

Great food prepared by many hands!

Kaitlin & Ashley, who is hiding her snowball blue lips!

The Three... Musketeers? Stooges? Blind mice? I don't know...you tell me!?!?

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!

Taryn's Baby Shower!

Congratulations Chris and Taryn! Taryn's baby shower was Sunday afternoon. It's alway's a joy to get together with family and friends!

The shower was held at Taryn's mothers farm in Fallston. What a beautiful place!

Lots and lots of gifts!

Shore Cookout!

We started Saturday morning with a 10 mile on/off road scenic bike ride on Kent Island. It was a lot of fun and a lot of exercise for someone who hadn't been on a bike for a few years! We rode along the seashore, through woods and marsh, stopped at overlooks for the Bay Bridge & Kent Narrow's bridge, and saw lots of wild life, (snakes, deer, birds). It was a beautiful ride! Ben & Tory I hope you got this one in while you were here!

Dylan and Ahsley. Notice the Kent Narrow's Lighthouse in the background!

Maranatha Baptist Bible College

Our church offers 4 module Bible college classes each year from Maranatha Baptist Bible College from Watertown, Wisconsin. This week Ashley and I were blessed by sitting in on a class, History, Poetry, and Prophecy an Old Testament Survey.

Dr. Terry Price was fantastic! He challenged us in our Christian walk, as we learned more about our Lord and the Great Book he has given us!

An added blessing was the time spent with my daughter, talking about God's Word! Our rides home were always too short!

Carol and Tony. They lost their husband/father this past year to cancer. What a great encouragement and testimony they are to us!

Baseball Fun

The kids play baseball for Ryal in the spring with other Christian homeschoolers. Last Thursday they had a night game.
Ashley talking with some friends...check out the foul ball flying in front of them!

In position, ready...corner field!

Dylan talking with Josh.

The Home Run Boy! He's determined to get a homerun every time...don't think he even stops at any bases!

The Smith's puppy, Gideon...I'm totally in love! Those ears are so precious, they get wet every time he gets a drink of water! How cute is that!?!?

Yard Project

After 11 years, we finally know where our property boundary's are! We have more footage in the front than was marked, so we've been doing some serious work up there! Shawn's moved a ton of mulch and took some trees down. The plan is to plant grass and some privacy trees. Can't wait! It looks so different now with the trees gone, its hard to get used to the view!
Dylan riding the lawn mower.

Shawn on the Bobcat.

Shawn's new "work" truck! He needed some extra "power" to pull the trailers. Now, when he drives it, he does the Tim Allen laugh, and say's "I have the power!" Silly boy!

We had a great time babysitting the Coleman kids this week. It took our entire family to watch 3 little kids...funny how you forget how loud & fast it used to be!
Sooooo sweet!

Ephesians 3:14-19

"For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen."
