Patch Club Pleeb's

We found this picture after cleaning out our yard sale closet. Laura must have given me this copy. It's Nov. 2000 Patch Club Pleebs, with Nick, Amber, Dylan, and... I can't remember!
It's funny to think back and although Nick and Dylan are now "Best Buddies," they used to FIGHT like crazy in nursery. Dylan and Amber still fight like crazy... Future wife???? Ha Ha Ha Ha! Funny how God works in our lives!

STILL WATERS - Psalm 23

We traded "Indian Summer" for "Still Waters - Ps 23" in February. We picked it up on Thursday from Virginia, and hauled all 9 tons of her to Chester, MD. Can you find the truck???
After a day of settling in, we decided to take a cruise up to the Baltimore Harbor and back.
I thought the Skipper was particularly handsome. (I however, developed a horrible rash Wednesday night - so I'm hiding out - no pics of me! Ugh!)
Shawn's parents came along for the ride! Jack did very well facing his fears! He even smiled and laughed a bit!
The puppies loved the weekend! They especially enjoyed sleeping with the kids & getting 24/7 attention!
It was neat seeing the harbor from the water view! Not something everyone gets to do!
The Constellation!
The Baltimore Aquarium!

Rainy Day Schooling Puppies

The kids and puppies were pretty bummed out with the April showers. So they decided to hang out together while schooling.
If you haven't picked up on it yet, Shelby has adopted Ashley.
And Dylan is Toby's pet!
Shelby, as predicted is very smart and beautiful. She has a soft, silky, shiny coat. Toby on the other hand...
...reminds me of a surfer air head. Laid back, a little spacey, but crazy lovable and sweet. His coat is a wiry mess of all different lengths.

RED CROSS SWIM LESSONS

Dylan completed his Red Cross Level 5 Swim Test on Thursday.

Back Float - his most difficult. Since he is solid muscle, the mini-Rock sinks like one!
Free Style - Yeah! He did great with keeping his face in the water!

Back Stroke - executed perfectly!

Breast Stroke - Great Job!

Afterwards, we celebrated at McDonalds!

Dylan's Certificate!

Easter Weekend

My cousin Tim Breen came for a visit this weekend. We stole him away with us for a game of bowling with the "Smunts" (Smiths & Hunts).

We had a great time! We did missed Mr. Scott not being able to play since he had a "broken" knee.
Look closely...after my 1st warm up ball, I got a strike! Fun!
Such concentration goes behind those power balls!
Tim had great form and delivery...but not many pins fell...?!?!
Debi - with glee! Hee Hee!
My strange people!

Dylan loved hanging out with Tim. He got him on the trampoline a couple times, went for a walk to the tree swing, and shot bee bee guns at the target range.
Tim even helped Ashley out with her Algebra. She learned her lesson in 5 min. flat - I love my brainiac cousin! We will miss you Timmy! Hope you come back home soon!

In Memory of AMBROSE A. BREEN April 15, 1984 - Feb. 29, 2008

Our struggle in life, Is often in vain.
For even the good, Will suffer in pain.
Like sickness and death, That follow us through.
Though our days on earth, Be many or few.
Why, even the righteous, Find anger and grief.
Though their days be long, Ever so brief.
So take heart my soul, Your Word be my guide.
Trust in God, And do more beside.
Let Job your counselor, Be heard as He said,
"Though He slay me I'll bless Him, And arise from the dead."
Oh! Friend can't you see, The answer is clear,
Let God be God, We need not fear.
The awful fate of a Shattered life.
That some experience, Who continue in strife.
Our complaining and crying, Will only feed the bleak.
Its the memories we'll guard, while God we shall seek.
Into mansions of glory, Beyond this fair sky.
Where angel and saints Sing a new song on high.
Praise unto the Lamb, All glories above.
His sacrifice saved us, Amazing His love.
Lets praise Him today, As in truth we ought.
For redemption loves story, By His Blood was bought.
For the vilest of men, Forgiveness of Sin,
Who trust in the Savior and invite Jesus in.
Let God be God, Please do it today.
He invites us to come, To Him right away.
He comforts the lonely, And broken hearted too,
Let God be God, He'll do this for you.
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)

Ephesians 3:14-19

"For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, for ever and ever. Amen."
