For even the good, Will suffer in pain.
Like sickness and death, That follow us through.
Though our days on earth, Be many or few.
Why, even the righteous, Find anger and grief.
Though their days be long, Ever so brief.
So take heart my soul, Your Word be my guide.
Trust in God, And do more beside.
"Though He slay me I'll bless Him, And arise from the dead."
Oh! Friend can't you see, The answer is clear,
Let God be God, We need not fear.
That some experience, Who continue in strife.
Our complaining and crying, Will only feed the bleak.
Its the memories we'll guard, while God we shall seek.
Where angel and saints Sing a new song on high.
Praise unto the Lamb, All glories above.
His sacrifice saved us, Amazing His love.
For redemption loves story, By His Blood was bought.
For the vilest of men, Forgiveness of Sin,
Who trust in the Savior and invite Jesus in.
He invites us to come, To Him right away.
He comforts the lonely, And broken hearted too,
Let God be God, He'll do this for you.
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)
