Saturday afternoon, we packed up the Mule and went for a ride to the Lake (more like a swamp) in the woods.
We hoped the water would have been frozen enough to walk on, but it was thawing in many spots. When its frozen, you can see the fish and turtles swimming under the ice.
We did see an eagle flying away when we came down the hill, but the kids were a little too loud to see much else. Behind Shawn is a beaver dam.
It was pretty cold, so the fire was perfect for warming hands and feet.
Night-night tired puppies. An afternoon in the woods mixed with a bath is just too much for these little guys to take!
