Julie Breen

My Cousin Julie is visiting Mom for a few weeks. Haven't seen her in a long, long time! She's married now with baby on the way! Her husband is serving in Iraq and won't be home until after the baby is born. :-(
The Breen tradition... Monopoly! Don't cry Simon & Tim!! We still love you... and Julie is no fun to play with - way too nice!!!

We're having a lot of fun with having Julie around for the holidays... now if we could just persuade her to stay until after the baby is born... :-) I'd love to see my new little cousin!

Ladies Meeting Christmas Craft

Each year at our December Ladies Meeting (Bible Study) the women put together a Christmas craft. I've had the blessing of choosing and organizing the craft the past several years now. This year I wanted to do something very different. It was a little scary, but in the end, I think it turned out pretty good. Here were some pictures of the samples, and some of the ladies finished product!

ONE MAN STAR WARS TRILOGY

Shawn and Dylan had a Guys Night Out. They met with the Lee's and Smiths and headed up to Baltimore's Center Stage.

They all enjoyed Charles Ross's tour de force solo performance One-Man Star Wars Trilogy.

The performance was a 1 hour recapping of the first three original films in a whirlwind of voices and sounds.

They had refreshments afterwards. Before they left, Charles Ross came out and they were able to talk, take pictures, get autographs... and get strangled by him! (Keep in mind, this was a "Guys Night Out.")

The boys and Dads all had a great time, and they all LOVED the show!

Camping at Chic-Fil-A

Would you camp out for $300 worth of Chick-fil-A meal vouchers PER PERSON? We did... Again! We spent the night at the Grand Opening of Chick-fil-A Lansdowne Station, Baltimore.
It was chilly, but the tent heaters worked well. The time flew by! Of course it helps when your with your best friend! :-)

We got a tour of the kitchen. I have to say, I was amazed at how fresh the food at Chic-fil-A really is. Even their lemonade is made each morning with 3 ingredients! ;-) This is what is used to cut the salads, fruit, cole slaw, etc. each day.

News crews from ABC 2 and Fox 45 were on site at 5:30 am this morning, along with radio stations. Debi and the Smith Family were on live this morning... Cool-e-o!

Dylan learned how to skate this thing in 20 minutes last night. By this morning he was doing tricks on it.
